Special K

So today is my first day on my new Special K Challenge diet and I'm starving. Now I remember why I don't do diets. Breakfast was a cup of cereal and half a cup of milk plus a banana then I had a snack two hours later of a peaches and berries cereal bar. I was actually okay until lunch when I had an apple and a chocolate peanutbutter protien bar, tasty but not at all filling. I was going to wait another two hours before I ate my snack but I started getting so hungry that I pulled some of my animal crackers out of my desk (they're not on the menu but low fat enough I wasn't worried about them setting me back too far). Then I ate my snack of italian seasoned Special K crackers. Still HUNGRY! My body wasn't ready for this...people keep telling me to fill up on water and I'll be okay but every time I try to fill up I have to go empty.

I'm hanging in there since this is only day one and I'm going to assume my body just needs a day or two to adjust. I'm just super thankful that when I go home I get to eat real food for dinner. After my workout of course! Whew, this is going to be the longest two weeks of my life! LOL!

Vegetables! Load up on raw veggies... minimal calories and you'll feel fuller. And, you'll be saving yourself from eating more carbs, which is what it sounds like the Special K diet is loading you up on.

ooh! Thanks Claire, I'm so glad I actually bought some veggies while I was at the store. YAY! :-)
