Day 64
Work has been a non-stop interesting fest since Friday. Ahhh working for the State...it's special. I was called in to the office today to give my point of view on something that happened. It's so stressful to have to be a witness to drama and give a statement. People just need to learn to grow up, seriously life is not a high school TV series. It just so happens if you don't do what you're supposed to do things don't always work out in your favor. Anyhow and moving on...
After work I did the Emily shuttle ;-) (<3 u em!)sometimes it's just nice to have a bit of a girl talk and work things out that are stressing you. I've decided to just keep applying for jobs and waiting to hear back (and praying daily that they'll call sooner rather than later!) and checking on rentals and hoping that they'll still be available when I finally hear back from an employer. I know the boy and I have some issues we need to work through and we're trying our best to handle it over the phone but I think things will kinda work themselves out one way or another when we can actually see each other more frequently.
Speaking of working through things, after dropping Em I
headed back home and worked out, feels sooooo good to be back at it daily. I worked out, drank my protein drink, cooked and ate dinner and then showered, put the dogs to bed and dragged out the book Jordan loaned me. I'm loving the book. The Dresden Files was made into a TV series and I saw it before I even knew there was a book series and so it's fun to note the comparisons between the series and the book. I find that funny about me, I can't STAND going to movies made from books after I've read the book because I will nit-pick all through the movie about all the inconsistencies and drive people around me bonkers. BUT let me see the movie or TV series first and THEN read the book and it's a serious reversal, I love seeing where the show or movie actually got things right from the book. I'm weird, I can't help it, I was born that way.
The boy texted and said he'll be calling later. It's a little obnoxious that he's on spring break and so because he doesn't have to be up early for school all week he's been calling later than usual. LOL! I just have to say hunny! I know you get to sleep in and all but I still have to wake up at 6:30AM every day and go to work :-P
