Day 59
Today was my interview, I'm pretty sure it went well but I'm also certain that I don't want to work there. I guess if I hadn't gone to the interview I'd have never figured that out so it wasn't a complete waste of time. I'm still holding out for the job at the aquarium *fingers crossed* but when you're told that you'll be sitting in a locked room behind shatter proof glass...that's just crossing a line for me. I don't want to go to work every day and have to be worried about if something horrible might happen.
I didn't get enough sleep lastnight, I tossed and turned all night worrying about my interview and I had some other issues that were bothering me a lot. So I was exhausted most of the day today. When I got done with the interview I just hung out around the house waiting for Nate to get home from classes. When he got home we spent a good bit of time talking and then we ate dinner, he played a video game with his brother briefly and then we drove to the beach. We walked the North end of Wrightsville Beach holding hands and laughing and joking. On our way back Nate noticed this red mist on the horizon and we stood there for a minute watching to figure out what it was and he decided it was the moon. I didn't believe him, the moon doesn't rise like the sun, oooh yes it does! We stood out there on the cold beach with our arms wrapped around each other and watched as the red moon rose above the ocean...it was one of the best moments I've ever experienced. We walked back to the car, drove home, had hot chocolate, and then I had to hit the road and come back home. I'm so tired of that. I want home to be a 10 minute drive at the most, I want to be able to be there all the time and experience a real relationship with this man that I am so ridiculously in love with. I just keep praying that I will get a good job down there and be able to move.
