Day 74
Today I spent time searching for new jobs in Wake County instead of New Hanover. I didn't find anything worth applying to but I'm not giving up. I think I wanna work for DENR or Cultural Resources. Anyway, after work I headed home to change my pants because they were driving me bonkers with how tight around my chunky waist they felt and then I headed over to Triangle Town Center to meet my friend Sofia at The California Pizza Kitchen.
I entered a contest on Sofia's blog by merely commenting :) and won a crocheted earwarmer. So we met up for dinner tonight so she could hook me up with my awesome prize and since we haven't hung out since I moved back home and we were way WAAAY overdue for some chat time. It was really awesome to get to hang out and just talk talk talk all through dinner...I think I ate less than I would have if I'd gone to dinner with Jordan or Emily or anyone else I see regularly, I took half my pizza home and one of my appetizer egg rolls (which were SUPER delicious by the way!). It was fun getting caught up on each others lives and discoursing on the drama we both leave out of our blogs ;-) sorry folks some things you'll never be privy to on here. I know it seems like I share an awful lot about my personal life on here but MAN there's so much more that you all miss out on LOL. Trust me it's for the best.
Anyway, after dinner I ran by Target. I needed a new watch because the batter keeps dying in mine and it was a cheap $12 watch from Walmart so I did

ing it and buying a new battery, so instead I went over to Target and picked out a new one. YAY! It's a tan leather band and a square face...kinda fun and funky compared to my last watch. I actually had chosen two and couldn't decide which I liked better, so I texted pictures of them to Stephanie to get her opinion and while I was waiting for a response I decided to go pick out some new underoos, she picked the second picture and that's the watch I got but I wasn't quite done...oh no, I decided I needed a new purse. So I went over and strolled around the handbags and debated over several really adorable ones. The one I truly wanted was orange. It was a decent sized bag but that was all show because the actual storage compartment was very small...hmmm. So I picked out a lovely bag with multiple shades of brown and a kind of wicker pattern on it, it's more practical and will go with more clothes during the summer. I usually go for the fun less practical things but since I was spending more than $20 on a purse I wanted to get one that I can use with more stuff.

After I made my purchases I wended my way back to the house and put the dogs up, showered and decided it's time to update you all. I'm gonna go wait and see if Nathan's going to call tonight, he's supposed to be studying for two big tests tomorrow so I may get more reading done instead of chatting. It's all good...I'm all kinds of Zen now remember!
