Days 107-109
Ah my weekend overview. You know you love the one quick shot of what I did all weekend. I'll make this one short and sweet.
Friday I spent the day at work...mostly alone. The heads of office cleared out and left me by myself and my supervisor had the day off so I chilled at the front office all by myself and LOVED every minute of it. When I got home, I didn't do a whole lot and that night I talked to Nathan. Great day. Great ending. Loved the Thunder storm!!
Saturday I went to my parents house after laying in bed reading for a few hours. I had lunch with the parents and went to Walmart with my mom. Then I went to the Storage building with my dad and FINALLY got the antique mirror stand that I've been begging him for for the last year. We were supposed to get me a desk so that I'd have something to put my sewing machine on so that I can actually use it, but apparently the desk is drowned by tons of other stuff so it's gonna have to be a non-rainy day when we do that one. After that we were supposed to go get the push mower and go cut my grass but it was raining pretty good by then and I just decided to go home. By the time I got home it had stopped raining and the ground was good and soft so I spent some time pulling weeds from the flower beds and raked leaves and weeds off into the woods beside the house. After that it was all laundry and relaxation!
Sunday I actually got up and went to church! I know miracles never cease. It's been a while since I've gone to my own ward, I usually go while I'm in Wilmington but we've had conferences two weeks in a row that I was home and then the third week Nathan was here and didn't bring church clothes so we didn't go to church. But I got up, got dressed, ate breakfast and lunch, drove to Garner, went to Sacrament meeting and then drove to my parents house for dinner. I spent most of my evening there and then when I got home I spent the rest of the evening finishing up laundry and talking Jordan's ear off. I love having roommate time! It's so great when you have an awesome roomie you can just chat with about anything and everything.
