Day 113
I got to leave work early today. And without being penalized too! Sweet. They needed someone with an account at the SECU to take the coinage from the coffee money to be counted and turned into cash. So, I left at 4:30 and went by the bank. I then went by where my mom works and picked up some baguettes she wanted me to have...and ate them the whole way home. YUM!
When I got home I worked out and then cleaned up the kitchen and made a smoothie to drink with my Enchilada leftovers and watched Sherlock Holmes with Jordan. It's a pretty good movie, one I'd like to own for sure, but I'm gonna have to watch it again. They talk so low and fast in the movie and the banter is great and all but half the time I couldn't hear it. I may need to watch with the subtitles on so I can see what exactly is being said.
So for the most part I liked it but I'm gonna have to complain about a few things, that is so me lol complaining about movies. Anyway, watch the preview...
Okay so my problem is that the scene where the woman levitates? Well she doesn't levitate off the table like that, the scene would have been way cooler if she did. And the parts where Rachel McAdam's character is in a corset and thigh highs and kicks his butt? Not in the movie! So I know these aren't like huge things but why show them in a preview for the movie if you're not going to put them IN THE MOVIE?! It's just annoying... and it's not like they were huge things to leave out, well maybe the scene's with McAdams were long and they cut them for time or something and you'll probably see them on the Special Features if you buy the DVD... but still. Very annoying.
Even with that annoyingness the movie was pretty darn good. I really enjoyed the action sequences and the way that they show him thinking things through and figuring stuff out in a mostly Sherlock Holmes kind of way. I do recommend the movie to anyone that is interested, it's definitely worth a watch.
