Day 54
Came home from a looong and dragging day of work to have to rush rush rush and head off to do some visiting teaching. I didn't get to do my workout today and that sucked. But I really enjoyed getting to know Katie. She's really cool and from the general area where I'm trying to move to and so she gave me some insight into different things about living there.
One of the things I love most about visiting teaching is the whole getting to know new people aspect of it. It's fabulous! I've discovered that I'm not the only person in my age range that is feeling kinda friendless in the ward. Not really "friendless" per-se but all the people I used to run with are gone now, moved away, married off, aged out, etc. So I can't help but think... we're all about the same age 24-31 why don't we get a group together to hang out more frequently?? I'm gonna think of a way to do that before I jump ship and run away to the beach LOL. But seriously, we're all from different core groups in the ward and most of us have been here for a while so why don't we just join ranks and have fun together?? that would be cool.
I spent the remainder of the evening with Jordan talking in the living room until Nate called and then of course I had to talk to him for as long as possible until both our phones nearly died LOL. It's always fun when that happens. Ooh I'm so ready to get the phone lines out from between us!
