Day 51
Today we celebrated the Chinese New Year with the Pink Ladies. Jordan and I got up cleaned house and ran to the Asian Market on Capital to pick up some food and snacks. We took far longer than we should have to walk through the tiny store but we were having so much fun discovering new items that weren't there last year. After that we came home and got everything set up for the ladies to arrive.
Once everyone got there we had all kinds of great foods! The table was loaded down! We ate first and then played games and checked out what our horoscopes were, that part was way fun. The games were great we played a Chinese Zodiac matching game, paper rock scissors- you stand on the bottom step and play until someone reaches the top step, and we had a chop stick race- you put items in a bowl and use chop sticks to cary each item (ie-smarties, marshmallows, kisses, etc) to an empty bowl on the other side of the room (it was a blast!). Then once most people had left it was down to me Jordan and her sister Amy and we sat around talking for quite a while. Finally Jordan had to go baby sit and Amy went home and I crawled into my bed and watched Ugly Betty.
Nathan called after he put the kids up and we're going to talk until it's way too late for him to be awake since he's going to get up early and get the kids ready to go to church. Can I just say how proud I am of him for that??? SO PROUD!

I think it's called - putting the kids to bed, not putting the kids up.... hahaha! Reminded me of what you say about putting your dogs up every nite. :)
Love you!
HAHAHA! OOPS!
