Day 49
All of my invites are on their way to their new homes. I'm so excited! The big day keeps getting closer and closer. I've almost got all the stuff ready for my party and my excitement keeps getting bigger and bigger!
Today is another work day. woo :p but it's better than being miserable at home I suppose. I get to sit up front and watch the desk and answer phones while everyone else attends a Staff Meeting, I'm actually cool with that, most of the time those meetings are pretty dull and I have the hardest time sitting still and listening during them. I feel like it's a waste of time for me to be in there because they never cover anything that directly relates to me, it's usually stuff for the Agents and Assistants.
After work I picked up Emily and we went to try and spend the money Nathan's mom gave me for my Birthday but I couldn't find anything I really wanted. I've decided not to buy ANY new clothes until I lose weight. As a matter of fact, I've been digging through my old clothes and sorting out the things I'll never wear again and I'm going to set an appointment with a Consignment shop and try to sell some clothes to not only make room for a new skinny wardrobe but to make some money so I can buy new clothes when I finally do lose the weight. This method seems to add a bit more pressure for me to actually DO the workouts and eat better because at this rate I'm not going to have much to wear if I don't hurry up and lose. :D
I worked out after Todd picked Emily up and then had some yummy Asian noodles with Ginger sauce and I tossed in some frozen greenbeans and salmon. It was soooo good! I have begun buying mostly Salmon when I go to the store. It's way healthy for you and there are so many different ways I can cook it. I've been buying chicken still too but I switched from ground beef to ground turkey. I do think I need to eat more red meat though, like some steak or something here and there, just for the iron content every so often. I'm actually quite proud of my ability to avoid most of the extremely fattening foods lately. GO ME!
