Another Year Gone
I managed to make it through the Holidays, not that I was that worried about not making it. I also managed to go without blogging that entire time. So lame of me. Here I am at the start of a new year and I'm going to vow to post at least once a week, interesting or not. I have at least three goals this year...
1- Be Healthier
which can be divided into two subgoals... a)lose the rest of that weight & b)eat balanced meals as much as possible.
2- Be Financially Stable!
3- Get into event planning...one way or another!
I will have reached my 5 years working for the State of NC in March and then it's time to move on. I may not do it right away but it's in my life plan to either find a job working for someone else doing events or to take the event world by storm and start my own company, with the help of my dear friend Linda of course.
2010 was good to me. It had it's roller coaster like ups and downs but overall I can look back on the year and say that I'm pretty happy with the results. I lost weight, realized a few dreams, finally found my way out of the D.O.T, made new friends, reinforced old friendships, said good bye to a dear roommate, had a boyfriend that turned into the clostest friend (I still have plans to marry him one day), gained perspective, started a business of sorts, and celebrated the end of the year with someone I love dearly. I hope that 2011 brings me as much joy, pain, and perspective as 2010 did...
