Day 6- A Stranger Day

I'm not quite sure how this should go but I'm gonna give it a whirl...I'm sure there are a few readers around that I don't actually know, so this is to you "strangers" out there.

I guess since you're a stranger, you don't really know me. Well dear stranger, let's become acquainted, shall we? I love long walks on the beach and dancing in the rain...oh wait, nope that's for those personal ads.

If you couldn't tell I've got a bit of a jokester side to me, half the time I don't realize I'm being funny but let's face it, when you're typing it on a blog most of the time you mean for it to come across that way. I am incredibly unsure of myself most of the time. I have gone through so many transformations in my life and I hope that I will continue to learn and grow and transform a few more times before I kick the proverbial bucket. I am a Mormon...or more correctly I am a Latter Day Saint. It may not always come out in things I say or do because I'm so ridiculously imperfect but I'm trying. I believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost and that they are three separate individuals that share the same purpose. I go to church, albeit infrequently, on Sunday for 3 hours and I try to live my life as best I can. I know I screw up and make mistakes, but as a lady I work with says "You haven't learned to walk on water yet".

I have a loving caring family, by no means are they the most awesome family ever, but they're my family and I love them. I am the last single child of 4 and the second oldest. We're not the closest brood but we do try to keep in contact with one another as much as possible with half our numbers spread out across the US. I grew up in North Carolina and have lived here my entire life, I love it here. The world is green around me and there are trees, mountains, beaches, and the people that actually stop and chat with one another, sometimes it's annoying though when you're trying to get somewhere and people are piled up in the isles of the store catching up on old times. I was raised with manners and to say yes sir, no sir, yes ma'am, no ma'am. I love the State Fair! If there is one time each year that I love more than any other it's October when the State Fair rolls into town. And the fall! Autumn is my favorite time of year, despite the fact that everything is dying off as winter sets in, it dies beautifully and gracefully with much ardour and the weather couldn't be more perfect.

I believe in love. Love at first sight, true love, love that grows with you from childhood, you name it...I believe in love. I think this world has become so incredibly selfish and obsessed with divorce that love has become a rare and beautiful thing. When you find it you hold onto it and tend it like a delicate flower. I am in love. I may or may not be alone in that but I am so head over heels in love. I don't love my job but I like my job. I recently began working with the Agriculture Department and most people are super nice and helpful but just like any job there are people that don't get along. I am so ready to become an event planner, I just realized about a year ago that my dream job is to plan events for people. I was the Activities Co-ordinater for my church for a year and even though you can't always make everyone happy, it made me happy to be able to plan, organize, and put on all kinds of events and it was so wonderful to see how happy people were as they enjoyed the activities. I want to do this for people and get paid to do it! To plan and design an event, see it from beginning to end. I think that would make me one of the happiest people on earth, seriously. I also love photography, it is one thing in life that I feel calms and centers me. It brings me closer to nature and people. I recently began photographing people and it's amazing to get to look in at peoples lives through the lens of a camera and feel like you're part of their joy and happiness. I wish I got more business, I guess I should advertise more, but then I don't have a spiffy professional camera and people don't really take me all that seriously without it...I'll get there some day I suppose.

And now dear stranger, you know quite a bit about me. I hope you have enjoyed our little journey and if you feel like you need to know more, well then I hope you will share some about yourself back with me. Perhaps we could be friends some day.
