Day 3- Your Parent's Day

Dear Mom & Dad,
No chance you'll read this but here goes. I love you both so very much, neurosies and all :-D I think it's incredible all that you put into being a parent. Everything you have done to support and help the growth of your children even after we've left home and are supposed to be out here surviving on our own, well, it leaves me in awe. I look at you both and realize how inadequate I would be at being a parent in comparison. I guess we're supposed to take what we learn from you and make ourselves great parents as well but I just can't seem to see myself ever being as thoughtful and giving of myself as you have been my whole life. I am so proud to call you my parents. I know that we've ridden a very bumpy road and I'm sure there will be so many more bumps as we continue along but I couldn't have picked better parents to travel that road with. All those times you've thought I wasn't listening to anything you were saying, you were wrong. I've always listened and often actually taken to heart what you've said, I'm glad that I actually have grown up with parents that care what I do. I thank the Lord for you both every day.
