Approaching Birthday

Why is it so hard to come up with an awesome idea for my own Birthday party but when it comes to planning anything else I'm a fountain of ideas? This is driving me crazy. Maybe it's because you're not supposed to plan your own party? Maybe. Or maybe it's because when it's YOUR party you want it to be so absolutely perfect because you'll remember it for the rest of your life.
