Whenever I hear the word crush the chorus for this song runs through my head...And I can't help but wonder if the world even knows the difference between a crush and love. For the sake of this 30 day writing challenge I'll pretend this is just a crush and go from there.
My dear,
I can't believe I have managed to live nearly my entire life knowing who you are but that I am only just now getting to really know YOU. Every second I have spent around you is a second I wouldn't trade for anything in this world. The emotion attached to just holding your hand, the way it feels to look into your eyes or to feel your arms wrapped around me...it leaves me staggered, breathless. I feel so happy to be the person you've come to when you need someone to talk to and it overwhelms my heart that you're always there when I have something to complain about, be happy about, or just when I need to talk. The long distance phone conversations about anything and everything have always been something that I look forward to. No matter what happens, where I go or where our lives take us, I know that you will always be someone I can count on.
