What A Cutie!

So, I had practiced photographing couples with Em and Todd a while ago. In the same weekend I decided to make my niece into my next guinea pig. I'm trying a foray into child photography now. God help me. LOL, Jordan is better at the kid thing because kids love her. There is a very very teensy tiny number of small children that like me...and two of that number are my brothers kids. Perhaps this will change one day but right now babies cry when I hold them, NAY... bellow, scream and KICK! when I hold them. Small children have fits and burst into tears. I think it's because I don't put up with crap. Maybe I should learn to because they are after all only kids...it just bugs me when they know how to work those heart strings and get what they want. Especially after watching my brothers kids get their way by bursting into tears on command or throwing fits until they get what they wanted. I don't put up with that...PePaw and I are the only two they can't manipulate. The thing is she's a ham...so I can pretty much get her to do anything I say as long as there is a camera in my hand. Anyway, here's some of the photos from our shoot....

Kids are infinitely more fun to photograph than adults because they will just go do whatever they want instead of you having to constantly pose them and they're not afraid to do silly things. Adults hate feeling foolish so the pictures are always so much more serious and not nearly as fun...well except Todd and Em...I mean he did throw rocks at her. Anyway, I like the running shots the best because they give it a more playful feel.
