My Mind is On Fire!
I've got all these fabulous ideas that are boiling inside my brain right now. And I can't wait to put them into action.
Several of my friends and I have been working out the logistics, times, locations, etc for doing some photo shoots. I'm very excited to try my hand at this. I've got so many fun ideas to play around with and so many places to work with as far as locations. My biggest problem is that I'm lacking a quality camera...I know people tell you that you really can work with what you have but honestly for what I have in mind I want to have a truly fabulous DSLR.
My biggest issue is I just haven't been able to decide on which one I want to purchase...when I have the money that is. Any suggestions? I would love professional grade but I'm not a fan of those prices. Right now what I'm looking for is a decent quality camera body and I actually want really high pixels because I fully intend to do high quality poster size prints. So, I want something with good settings for portraits, sport settings, and macro...and should I be able to find something I can use under water...that would be even better. My co-worker referred me to a site where they sell these camera bags that you can seal your camera in and it not only keeps your camera safe from water but it also floats! Cool right? I know I'm super pumped about all the options that will provide me with. Anyway, the plan is to buy a decently priced and quality camera body then spend the good money on buying spectacular lens options. Because as I have learned it's not really the camera that makes the photos so fabulous, it's the lenses. BUT the camera still has some say in it...like good resolution and no shaking (they have that option in lenses but I'd like to do it in the body as well).
Anyway, I'm not sure I'm ready to share my photo shoot ideas with the world at large just yet but I'm certain that you should be on the lookout for the photos...coming to a blog near you ;-) I do believe we have reserved June 5th as our first session date and I'm so pumped I can barely contain myself.
