Day 25
Another long boring Monday at work. I feel like a lemming lately. Get up, go to work, come home, work out, eat dinner... wash, rinse, repeat. I guess that's why I'm considering a change so strongly, perhaps it will shake up my boring life for the better.
I started a new workout regimine today, My first two weeks it was straight up TurboJam but I read in a booklet I was sent by Women's Health Magazine (they send you free gifts, I got three booklets about diet and weight loss) that if I want to lose my belly fat I need to boost my metabolism using this 10 Step Workout. So I did. Plus they have another 6 exercises a few pages down that are Pilates moves to strengthen your abs. I am supposed to do both of these 3 days a week. So my new plan is to do the ab workouts Monday, Wednesday and Friday and then do my TurboJam on Tuesday and Thursday. Let's hope I can keep it up long enough to see some tummy changes because that's where the majority of my weight seems to rest.
After my awesome workout I cooked a nice healthy dinner of Brown Rice, Salmon and Green Beans. The sad thing about this yummy dinner? I was hungry all over again an hour later. Ugh. After dinner I showered and watched a movie while working on the blanket I'm making and by the time the movie was over Jordan was home and ready to watch heroes. It was nice to be able to actually sit down in front of the TV and watch the show all the way through with her...I'm usually on the phone with Nathan by this time but he was supposed to be studying. LOL about 10 minutes before the show ended he called and I told him he'd just have to call back in a little bit so I could finish watching the show. It was a really interesting episode, I kinda love heroes. Anyway, an overall slow as usual evening.
