Day 19
Work was about the same as usual today... oh so typically boring LOL. I spent most of the day looking at house plans from the David Weekley Homes site. They have amazing homes, full of windows and fabulous sight lines. And they're made of quality glue too! I mean you get a lot of homes in neighborhoods that they just throw up there and they're really crappy but these homes are made of the good stuff...which probably explains the price tag that accompanies them but they're really beautiful and quality looking. Anyway, I have this hobby of looking at house plans and figuring out what I want in a home some day. I've got tons of brochures from different places that do interrior and exterrior things on homes as well...like tile, wood flooring, counter tops, cabinets, and decks. It seems a bit silly at times because I'll probably never be able to afford the kind of house that I truly dream of owning, but what good is it if I never have dreams to aspire to?
So after work I went home and blew through my workout, I sweated more today than I have since I started working out. I guess that's a good thing because my body is actually starting to really FEEL the workouts. And then I cut up some potatoes and sprayed them with Canola oil spray, sprinkled them with seasoning salt and baked them in the oven for about 24 minutes. Then I jumped in the shower while they were cooking and when I got out it was time to add my special ingredients! I bought some nacho cheese at Aldi when I was shopping so I melted some and poured it over the potatoes and then added some of my super healthy bean and turkey chili. Let me just tell you!!!! My Chili Cheese Fries were AMAZING! Can I even really call them fries? What exactly do you call potatoes that are baked in the oven instead of fried in a fryer? I mean baked potatoes doesn't really cover it...I guess I could call them baked tater fries LOL...and there's that F word again. OH well, they were super tasty! I'm sure they're not super healthy because of the cheese but I tried to use very little cheese on them so it wouldn't be too fatening.
Anyway, I'm exhausted so I'm probably going to work on crocheting a few squares while waiting on Nathan to call and then pass out really early tonight. Overall, a pretty decent day!
