Ugly Cars

The following are cars that I have long felt should be removed from the road for the sheer fact that they make me want to jam a fork in my eye so I no longer have to look at them. I'm sure there are many MANY other hideous cars out there but these top my list:

1st there's the Hummer. A car engineered for people with more money than brains. Originally the Humvee was created for military use...and in my opinion that's where it should have stayed. They created the H1 which tried to stay true to it's original design and looks very much like a military vehicle and then they created the H2,H3, and Hummer Stretch all of which look absolutely ridiculous.

The most recent hummer is their concept car, which looks as though it's trying to return to it's military roots...keep trying guys.

2nd we have the Honda Element. This car has long made me nauseous with it's box like shape and plastic interiors. Following closely behind the Element is the Pontiac Aztec. This car isn't made any better than the Element by it's rounded rear. And then there's the Scion xB...which leaves my head hurting just trying to figure out who thought this body style was a good idea!

Next up are the bug cars. The Yaris is the newest model of these style vehicles. It looks like a freaking ladybug driving down the streets, I wanna paint black polka dots on them all. It looks like a reject Bug that doesn't even have the saving grace of being made by Volkswagen. Speaking of the Bug, I'm not a huge fan of the newer models...especially the ones where the top come off. Give me an original VW Bug any old day.

Another car imitating a classic style is the PT-Cruiser. I used to like the first one when it came out but then I started seeing them on the road and they look so comical, like a milk delivery van. This style was made worse when they created the convertible version and the stretch...why is it they try to make every car into a limo?

This last group of vehicles are by far the worst offenders. The crossover SUV/Truck. These vehicles make me wonder about the sanity of the people actually buying them. Just see for yourself if you don't believe me...

The crossover trend actually began long ago with this hideous beast of a car...the El Camino. Part car part truck and every bit absurd. The fact that I still see these cars on the road is a testament to the preposterous mind of some people. The Camino was followed by numerous car companies that thought people needed a truck AND an SUV and thus these disturbing love children were created...

But why stop there? The geniuses at Chevy created a convertible truck.

Enough said.

I don't claim to be a car expert, as a matter of fact I don't really care what car I drive so long as it gets me around town without any problems. But I just couldn't keep my mouth shut any longer...please world stop making such ugly cars!
