My Battle with Pantyhose
Personally, I'm a huge fan of hosiery. I like wearing pantyhose because they make my legs look all smooth and tan. The problem is, they don't like me. Every pair of hose I've had hasn't lasted more than one or two times out. It's sad really. If my fat fingers don't poke a hole in them as I try to pull them up then my heels will snag them and put a run in them when I go to cross my legs. Apparently this problem doesn't stop with hose, it extends to tights. For any of you that may not know the difference, tights are made of a thicker and more opaque material, usually in a variety of colors. The last two pairs of tights I've worn have come off and gone directly into the trash because a heel punctured them. I either need to give up on trying to wear hosiery or I need to not wear the type of heels that I love... I'm thinking pantyhose are on the losing end of this battle.

Brasilians stick their pantyhose in the freezer before use. They say it strengthens them, thus they last longer. It's worth a shot at least

I absolutely hate nylons. I bought a pair when I was in Idaho b/c it seemed insane to go barelegged in 10 degree weather. I wore them once and that was it. I hate them sooo much. I opt for going to the tanning bed and having a magnificent razor instead. Just so you know, if you lose the battle, there are still other options! Good luck!
