What it Takes for Professional Stunts?
In my lovely exercise routine I didn't account for the stunts portion of the evening.
I had forgotten what it's like to walk Freckles, she hates being on a leash so she tries to chew on the leash and jump up and grab it from me while we walk. Today we did okay walking but when she wanted to run I took off and ran for a bit before she started in on leash combat mode. I did okay letting her chew on it and run and then she got in front of me and stopped...
I tripped over her doing a forward roll through the air and landing on my right knee and wrist. It would have been totally sweet if there had been a camera around to catch it. Sadly all that exists of this spectacular feat is the visual you create in your own mind of my fat butt flying through the air. I'm okay; just a broken nail, a scratched wrist and palm, and a small bloody scrape on my knee. Maybe I've found my new calling in life...Professional Stunt Woman.
