Shot Down

Ouch. No not me, in this case I'm doing the shooting. What do you do when you apply for a job and get called in for an interview and realize that it is SO not what you want to be doing? Well you hope they don't call you and tell you that you've got the job. Once I got to the interview for this job I realized, wow this is worse than where I currently work. So today I get a phone call from this guy that interviewed me and he offered me the job...instead of just saying I wasn't interested ( I don't do that well with jobs...guys are another story :-P) I made up a story that I had accepted a job that I was offered last week which I'd interviewed for the previous month. I felt kinda bad afterwards, like I wasted their time...it's just I knew when I stood up after the interview that if he called I would not accept the job. It pays more but you know, sometimes more money doesn't make up for a worse workplace.
