Women and change.

Why is it that when a woman wants to change her life, the first thing she does is change her hair? And all my friends just about popped a gasket on that question because who changes their hair more often than anyone? Me, of course. The difference is, I get bored with my hair so I change it for the fun of trying a new color, not to start a new chapter in my life. I have no problem with this, so don't jump on me about it, I just think it's an interesting concept and am extremely curious as to why this happens. Afterall, I've tried to make myself feel better about a crappy situation by dying my hair as well, I think most women have tried this at some point.
I googled something and found someone asking the question:
I need a change in my life, should I dye my hair?
Read the responses, some of them are typical but some are really great. One person says that you can not change your problems in life by making your hair a new color, you have to confront what's bothering you. Wow, so true. Until you face your problems full on they're still going to be there no matter what color, shape, or length your hair is.
The next time I decide to change my life, I think I'll start with exercise. Not only does exercise make you healthy but through the release of endorphins it can make you happy too. Maybe this change should start today, I could stand to shed about 30lbs...

It's not so much it changes my life, it just gives me a change of what I'm looking at in the mirror, which helps me to make other changes as well. Gives me the incentive to make more permanent changes...
