New Exercise Regimen
Today I started my new exercise regimen... walking dogs. According to my dad my dogs fight so much because they don't get enough exercise. So, I figured since I need exercise and they need to stop fighting, why not combine the two? I grabbed my mp3 player (I'm too cheap to own an iPod) and a dog and took off down the road. Lucky for me my neighborhood is on a dead end road so it's a fairly safe place to walk. I walked 4 out of 5 dogs, once down, once back, and then up to the dog pen to grab another. (I can't walk Freckles until the bite mark on her neck heals...it's not as bad as it sounds really, I just don't want the collar rubbing on it.) So I walked up and down the road for about an hour and I think I'm going to try and do this 5 out of the 7 days a week...TRY being the key word there. I've noticed an over abundance of energy late at night the last couple of weeks and I need an outlet so I've decided the best bet is going to be exercising. I'm glad though, maybe I'll shed a few pounds finally and, who knows, maybe they'll stay gone. HA HA.
