Mind Over Matter
I've had some very interesting conversations lately about the power of suggestion and mind over matter. We only use about 10% of our brain, but what if that other 90% were unlocked to us? Or even half of that 90? What could we do?
It's amazing to me to think about those things, I mean people can actually do amazing things when they don't think about it or when they experience intense panic. The thing is though, we even have scriptural proof of what man can do. Christ walked on water, scientists love to try and disprove this one, and that could be put off as well he's a God so of course he could walk on water, but so did Peter. The brother of Jared, moved a mountain. Christ did so many things during his ministry that people looked at and thought oh he's doing these things because he's God but what if it were more than that? What if Christ could do these things because his mind wasn't inhibited by the power of suggestion.
This conversation with my friend really got my brain churning, why do we only use 10% of our brains? Is it because we're not ready for what would come with the other 90%? Moses went up on Mt. Siani and the Lord gave him a higher law that was broken when he found the people were not ready, so is it possible that some day when we are ready that the things we'll be able to physically do will be unlimited?
