If you read this far down, for the explanation of what in the world this list means, congrats. You've got some serious patientce. Anyhow, this is a list of Hollywood "historical" movies that I want to see. I watched this movie today at work...The Other Boleyn Girl, excellent movie by the way, and while I was watching I decided to look up the book on wikipedia and discovered that it's based on Anne Boleyn's seldom mentioned sister Mary. Anyway the point is I really dig on History, and that could possibly be why I'm a History Major, and so I wanted to see what other movies were like this one. Not just from that time from but throughout history. Oh I found a really great website with an extremely long list of historically based movies in Chronological order from the beginning of time (A Brief History of Time ) all the way to today's politics (Recount). So I sat here and made a very lengthy list (thus the above results) of the movies that I would like to see. So, someday my love of history and movies will join forces and I will have watched every last one of these movies listed above. I just hope I'm able to accomplish this before the day I die... nevermind the fact that my list of books to read is significantly longer than the movie list oh and then there's my non-history movie list to add to that... sheesh I'd better settle in and get started!
