Summertime's Calling Me

I'm so in the summer mood and just dying to travel to the beach but with the other things I've got going on this month I'm going to have to put the beach off for a while. I have some friends that are making a pilgrimage that way on Saturday and I was invited and I really REAALLY want to go but I have other things that are taking priority right now. For instance, I need to keep as much money under wraps as possible for my trip to the Science museum (that's actually not going to be until next month but I need to save the money) and I need to gather enough to attend the lectures they're having. Then I also plan on attending two YSA Conferences this month, one in Charlotte next weekend and one in Wilmington the following weekend. So I've gotta keep my pennies.

This lack of cash, however, has not stopped me from being in the summer mood. I've started creating a summertime music playlist. I'm so excited about it. I think I'm going to burn them onto CD's and when I go to the beach I can play my totally awesome summer music to get me in the mood. :-)
