An MRI and an Interview

So, today I went back to the Carolina Back Institute and had my MRI. In total it's going to cost me $350 for the MRI and then I have no idea how much but there will be a charge for a Medical Company to read the MRI and send it back. So I'm now paying all this out of pocket. Before I had my NC Flex card...When you work for the state and have their health plan you can sign up for the NC Flex program, where you designate a certain amount of your paycheck to go onto a pre-paid credit card every year and you use that when you have to pay for Dr. visits or prescriptions and such. I put $410 on my card for this year and I now have $0 left. This is rediculous! So whenever I go to the Dr. I'm having to pay with whatever I have. Let's hope that there aren't any emergencies because we all know how good I am at keeping money... or should I say spending it. So I wont know anything until Monday at 4:30. I really wish they could like give you the results instantly or something but I have to wait a few more days. I just hope they find SOMETHING and can fix it without major surgury or anything. Or maybe it will be something that will fix itself over time.

And tomorrow morning I have a job interview! I'm very nervous, but that's normal. I'm always a bundle of nerves when it comes to being interviewed because I just want to make a really good impression on them so they hire me. This job is with the Department of Justice in the Private and Protective Services division. I'm not positive about what exactly I'll be doing but I think it's the job that said I would be keying in data and reviewing applications for companies that install security systems. It doesn't sound boring but it def. doesn't sound as interesting as the last job I'd applied for. My dad knows most of the people over there though and he says they're all nice people and it's a pretty layed back invironment. We'll see. The other job I'd applied for was with Wildlife Resources Management and not only would I be doing standard office work and vessel registration (boats) but I would also, at slow points, be loaned out to other departments in the same building that need help with things. That sounds like a BRILLIANT job! But at this point anything sounds better than working in the mailroom at DOT Purchasing with now where to go but insaine. So pray that my interview goes well and that I get offered the job, ooh and pray that I get offered like 27thousand...because that would just be AWESOME. Chances are they'll give me about a 10% increase on what I already make and that's just not enough. *sigh* One can dream.
