Lazy Sunday
Saturday was good. I went to forever21 with Stephanie and got a tank and a really cute club top.
That store was incredible! It was so ginormous I didn't know which end was up! We made it through the whole store and grabbed about 8 things each to try on. I love that there's a store here now so I don't have to order blindly off the website... I know if it fits...plus, no shipping! YAY! Matt met us at the store and then we went to Triangle Town Center to check out Dick's and DSW. Good prices on punching bags! I found a pink one and it was only $75ish. That's good news. I found really cute yellow shoes too, but they were too expensive... I just didn't have $60.00 to spend.
SO sad! We ate dinner at California Pizza Kitchen, we had the California Club (naturally ;-) and Carne Asada pizza's, they were sooooo good. It was just a lot of fun. We went to Blockbuster to rent a movie and ended up buying three each (well I got four because I bought one of the 3.99 movies) from their 3/$20 bins. We went over to Stephanie's and watched one of her movies, Disturbia... Wow, it was really creepy LOL.
So yesterday I slept until 7:30 and then got up to let the dogs out and then laid down and watched the Nanny Diaries. Very cute movie, by the way. I started a load of laundry and ate something because, I'm always hungry. I then started watching Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. After that was over I fell asleep and slept clear through until about 5! I guess I fell asleep around two... so it wasn't that long really, it just seems so.
We then went to my brother's house for Aaliyah's (my niece) birthday. Sadly, Kelly's friend was there. Her and Kelly really seriously need to get a grip on reality. I swear they think they know everything but really between the two of them they pretty much know nothing! How is it that someone, myself in particular, who has no kids and isn't married knows more about kids than someone who is married and does have kids? A little 411 for ya, I'm never having children. I just don't get it though, why does she do some of the seriously rediculous things that she does? For instance... they bought a birthday cake AND cupcakes... why?
Why did she have to waste my brother's money like that?? They hardly make enough to get by on and she's got him buying two birthday cakes for a three year old! Then there were the birthday presents, they got her a big plastic slide, Kelly wanted Jackie to put it up inside the house. Common freaking sense tells you it's an outside toy and you put it up OUT SIDE! Along with the bubble machine that she got from Kelly's friend's son. What the hell does a 3 year old need with a bubble machine??? Give her a damn bottle of bubbles and a bubble wand and send her outside. I don't understand these people at all... and to top it all she puts the bubble machine up in the kitchen and Aaliyah goes and sticks her face right in it! She's got soap all in her hair and eyes and Kelly's just standing there laughing and taking pictures. IDIOT. I hope I never understand her because then that means my intelligence level will have dropped significantly.

She was so good! She really hates water though and you can tell by the way she feels like she has to bury her head in your chest while you bathe her. She's so freaking adorable.
When her bath was done I let her lay on the bed while I watched The Holiday and finished up on the laundry. By the time I went to bed it was about 11:15 and I couldn't fall asleep. I think I probably passed out around 12ish. Stephanie invited me to come over to her house because she was having some people over to watch a movie... if I wasn't already terribly busy I would have considered going until I saw who would be there. I guess she invited me to be nice, but she knows how I feel about him, the guy's a complete Jackass! and she can do much better!!! There's at least two options for her to take but if she likes him she likes him. So even if I'd had nothing else to do I wouldn't have gone because it would have been rude ...or should I say I would have been rude. So my night ended with a puppy in the bath and some much needed laundry time.

So, I rode to work with my mother and he's going to pick me up when I leave, early, today. I've got an appointment at 3:00 for Bella to go to the vet and a lunch date with my ex at 1:00 so I've got a very interesting, to say the least, day ahead of me.
