Birthdays and Disappointment
So last night was fun. I went over to Amanda and Dan's apartment with the ladies for dinner and games. We celebrated our birthdays and had a lot of fun doing it. We played phase 10, a card game that I'd never played before. I felt soooo incredibly slow! It was pretty funny because Sara was helping me and in turn we cheated her way through two phases, but it was all in good fun. After we left there we drove back to Sara's apartment where her parents were waiting. They live all the way in Pennsylvania and came down just for her birthday. It was really nice. So I got in my car and left.
When I got home I wanted to check my emails and I hopped on facebook and left a message for Jericho. He messaged me back and asked if I could talk so we talked on there until I got tired of refreshing every five seconds and decided to download AIM. We talked for like four hours! It was really funny stuff. Just about his new job in Winston and how he's sad he has to move, this girl he likes, his personality, why I don't get asked out... we never came to a full conclusion on that one by the way, we just chatted and chatted. It's really nice to know that I can have a friend that's a guy to just talk to. I mean I already knew I had a couple of those but it's still refreshing when you can add another one to the mix. I love talking to guys because they are just so honest... well when you're friends they have no reason to lie. And I don't think Jericho is much of one for the lying anyhow. While I was on there talking to him my ex Zach got on and started talking to me. He wants to take me to lunch on Monday so I'm up for it so long as I don't have to pay for anything. It'll be good to get to hang with him again. We had lunch the last time he was in town and it was kinda fun. The boy drives a motorcycle and I got to sit on it and try on his helmet! That was kinda cool. So I went to bed about 3am.
When I got up this morning I went to take the dogs and put them in their pen and Bella couldn't stop shaking her head. The poor little thing has yet ANOTHER ear infection. It's so frustrating to have to pay the vet in the upwards of $100 for something they already treated her for... I don't understand why they can't just let me come in and buy the freaking anti-biotics! I called and asked and the lady said that since August was the last time she was there it had been too long. So I made an appointment for Monday afternoon at 3:00.

I'm going to have to use the money I was saving up to go skydiving with to take her to the vet. I'm so sad. I really had my hopes up about this, it was going to be the best birthday present I've given myself EVER! I'm turning 25 so I'll be a quarter of a century old and half way between 20 and 30... in my mind 30 is still old. So I really wanted to do something fun and exciting. Now I have to take my dog to the vet instead. It's okay I can go another time but it's just not the same as going for your birthday and my dog's ears are way more important. I love my babies and I can't stand to see them hurt. At least no one can call me selfish! Sheesh. Oh well.
I'm still waiting to hear from Stephanie about today. I really want to check out the store forever21 over at Crabtree mall and I want to go visit Dick's Sporting goods too. I want to buy a punching bag for my house for when we move. I just don't feel like dealing with a lot of people and we usually hang out with a group... all I want to do is chill and not "shop" but window shop. Pick out cool stuff. I can't spend any money, but it would be nice to go somewhere for lunch too. *sigh* Oh well, I should probably eat something and take a shower.
