Exhausting
I just re-discovered how much I hate moving. The move took me two and a half days where as it only took my roommate 4 hours. Yeah, I own a ton of crap. The new house is wonderful though and oh so spacious for just the two of us, I love having two rooms all to myself, till I can get all my crap sorted anyway. We still don't have any food in the cupboards or fridge and that makes me a little frustrated, I don't get paid till Friday and then most of my check will go towards paying bills and paying back. I'm hoping mom and dad will hold true to their promise of buying us a few necessities but they have yet to say anything and I haven't had the time to go with them to shop..maybe Friday.
The thing that's so exhausting is the number of boxes in the spare room across from mine. It's rather daunting to look in their and see them all glaring out at me just begging to be unpacked. The problem with it is a lot of it is stuff that really needs to be thrown out and I'm a packrat...I hate to get rid of something and then miss it once it's gone. So this has been a bit of a struggle and may take me a while longer than any normal person to get done. Hopefully I'll get a lot of it taken care of and quickly because we still need to have a house party. I think I'm going to be like the State Fair and in order to gain entrance to the party you must bring food...canned goods, bread, cereal, flour, rice, etc (prefferably stuff we would actually eat), and then that can be our lovely house warming gifts...fill our cabinets please ;-)

Okay first of all - I agree with you. You have been trying to pack up all our crap that we don't use and either sell it or store it so we have room for a child. LAME!
Second -- Thanks for sharing your testimony. I just love you!
:-) Amanda, I'm so glad you can appreciate the stress of trying to get rid of stuff lol.
And thanks. It was not easy and it went through several drafts before being posted lol.
