Wow, two in one day!
This one will be brief. I've noticed a certain section of 440 is like the freaking Bermuda Triangle...only instead of vehicles getting lost or just disappearing it seems the people driving the vehicle's brain has disappeared. That or their gas pedal, you decide.
So there is a stretch of the Beltline from the Capital Blvd. exit to about a mile past the exit for Wake Forest Road, in BOTH directions, where traffic always slows to a crawl regardless of the time of day. The speed limit is 60 and I swear the traffic around me is always going 45 in that area. It makes no sense. What is it about that section of road that slows people down so much? I mean I can be cruising along one minute and there's no one on the road but maybe one car and then, BAM!, I get to that section of the road and there's about 10 cars all going ridiculously slow. What is the deal? I wish someone would explain it to me because I don't get it at all.
Maybe there's some kind of magnetic force that pulls all cars but mine (and a few select others) way down and prevents them from going at least the speed limit.
