I have historically weak nails. I like to blame it on my lack of self control when it comes to a bad habit... I used to bite my nails a lot. They chip and break off really easy and that means they usually stay really short. I've tried so many different products that claim to strengthen your nails, usually a nail polish, but they never seem to work. Nail polishes are frustrating because you always have to keep re-applying them over and over again and it just piles up and gets gross. A while back I found this really great product, Hard as Hoof nail strengthener cream. While it is something that if you stop using your nails seem to crap out on you again I have noticed a significant change in how strong my nails are since I've been using it. You rub the cream on your nails three times daily or as often as you like and you can add it on over nail polish but I don't recommend it because it makes your polish have a cloudy look. I don't think my nails have been this long in...well forever. They're not all that long but they're longer than they've ever been. I highly recommend this stuff to anyone that has weak crappy nails like mine. Check the isles at Wal-Mart.
