Recurring Trend.
First, before I get to the point of this blog I want to say, I LOVED BREAKING DAWN! okay now that that's over... I can get on with my life. No, seriously it was a fabulous book and I loved it so much. Afterwards I read a lot of opinions and I can honestly say I'm severely disappointed in the Twilight fandom for their lack of love and inability to see something wonderful. These books may not rank among the crem de la crem but I'll be danged if it's not one of the best series I've read in a long...VERY long time.
Moving on with other topics at hand.
I've noticed a recurring trend among the men I'm attracted to. I said before that you are to disregard anything I say about the whole "my type" stereotype, and I'm not going back on it but... I thought it was funny and worth a blog.
You ever heard that line that goes "there's just something about a man in uniform" ? Yeah, I have too LOL. Basically I tend to fall for men that come with a sexy costume for role play later on ;-) Was that WAY too much information for ya? LOL well now you're getting an inside peak at my silly mind I suppose. Let me do the run down for ya.
First there's Zach. When we dated was high school and where we met was band. I guess he's got two uniforms that I find kinda hot lol. After graduation Zach joined the Navy, he looks dang good in his dress whites. Next was Chester, when we met was high school and where was our fabulously ghetto place of employment : Capital Skate. Chester was actually in college studying criminal justice and is now one of Rocky Mounts finest. Brendan and I dated my Senior year but he doesn't fall into the same category though, the orange jumpsuit doesn't quite do it for me. Yes I dated a future convict, sad but true. In College there was Matt. Oh my beloved Matt. He was still in high school (a senior) and we met through his cousin, my close friend and had a long and very interesting relationship. Matt wasn't anything other than a high school student while we were together but he joined the Army about two or three years after we stopped dating. Then there was Scott, oh mischief incarnate, he was a "Catamount Ranger", the student volunteers that worked with the campus police at Western. He was also a Criminal Justice major and worked for at least two police departments and the local jail. He's not doing either now but when I was with him he wore that uniform pretty proudly. There have been recent guys I've had crushes on, all either in the Army or some other military branch and the most recent guy is in college...and I bet you could guess his major without much help. Yep. He's studying Criminal Justice.
So, sadly I have a very generic mind when it comes to men. Throw on a uniform and you have my attention. No, lol that's totally not all it takes but it doesn't hurt your chances. Now of course, by no means is this every guy I've dated... I dated a few guys that didn't come with a uniform nor will they ever have one and I've had a few extremely memorable relationships with some guys that were way too hot for a uniform. It was just something I was thinking about last night while contemplating past relationships and then I slowly started to notice the trend that I hadn't really noticed there before. I guess, most of the time anyhow, I'm just a sucker for a man in a uniform.
