Day Trippin'

Went to the beach with Brenna and Jordan last Saturday and it was thrilling. We stayed at the actual beach for like three hours which went well. Unfortunately, upon trying to exit the ocean it decided it didn't want me to leave so it knocked me down and dragged me back in before realizing I don't really taste that good and spitting me out. I got some scratches from the sand and shells on re-entry. That part was crappy because I also ended up with a suit full of sand, shell, and other crap. I laid out till I was dry after that and we decided to leave because Brenna thought she might get sunburn and then I was the one to get it... go figure.We drove to Fort Macon and enjoyed exploring the fort and taking tons of fun pictures. One of my favorite places to visit is Fort Macon, it never really changes but it's always so fun to go exploring around in the outer wall and in all the little rooms. I think we had the most fun we've had in a while. We then attempted smoothies, that went badly, and dinner... which also didn't go so well. We ate at Jordan's Seafood Restaurant which is like a freaking double-wide trailer with card tables and folding chairs and a makeshift bar... I remember eating there when I was younger and it wasn't so bad but as an adult the two times I've been there, it's sucked. We got home late and were all extremely exhausted Sunday... but I think it was well worth it because it was such a fun trip! I think we're Old Salem bound for our next day trip. YAY!
