First Day on the Job!

Today was my very first day at my new job! Man it was like information overload too. I have a lot to learn and a short period of time to learn it. There's about 40 some odd employees in my building and I have to write down the time each person enters and leaves the building for the day...tedious! I wish I could take pictures of everyone's face and type their name and position next to it and then that way I'd learn who they are a lot faster... I may do that anyway! lol. So my job is receptionist with the Agronomic Division of the Department of Agriculture. They kept telling me how excited they are to have me there, I told them they just had no idea how happy I was to be there.

At lunch I went to their break room where people were sitting around tables and chatting or watching tv...but the day was so nice I heated up my lunch and went and sat outside! They have an awesome little quad like area with picnic tables where you can sit outside and enjoy the amazing weather. I loved it! I felt slightly anti-social but at the same time I was in sheer awe of the amazing view. I must take pictures of this place to post for everyone to see...it is just FABULOUS! The only bad part of my day is that as the day wound to a close my head started to hurt, probably that information overload I was talking about, but other than that I had a fantastic first day and the people there are all really nice so far and they seem to really love their jobs! ISN'T THIS GREAT!?!!!!
