Wake Up!

Perhaps you've had this dream before? Or maybe it's just me, but I'm pretty sure most people have had one similar. You're going about your business in your regular dream manner, whatever that may be, and suddenly you have to go take care of "business".

But then shortly after that you have to go again, and again, and again, until finally you realize you're not even really able to go at all, but it feels as though your bladder is about to explode! And then you realize that your dream is trying to tell you to wake up and go to the bathroom. I've actually had this dream a lot in my life. Lastnight as a matter of fact, or more apporopriately, this morning. In my dream I'm going about having a good time with my friends and joking around and then all of a sudden I have to go. But no matter how many times I run to the bathroom I just can't get any relief and have to keep going back. Until finally the last time I run to the bathroom I realize that I'm not even doing anything, and then it hits me... WAKE UP SILLY! So I get up and realize I've gotta go REALLY bad.

I find it incredibly interesting the way our bodies try to tell us things through dreams. When my back was at its worst and I kept getting cramps, right before my eyes would pop open, in my dream I would be doing whatever and then whoever I was with or was around would punch me in the back. Just WHAM right in the middle of my back and then POP my eyes came open. It's just so fascinating to me how that can happen.

It really makes me wonder, these people that claim deja vous, have they dreamt it? Is it possible to see something before it happens, if only in a dream? It's kind of like that movie Final Destination, where the guy falls asleep on the plane before takeoff and dreams about the plane exploding and then he and several of his classmates are removed from the plane. Shortly after they are made to leave the plane and they're all sitting around asking him about what he saw, the plane explodes. It's not always bad things in deja vous though. Have you ever had a dream where something wonderful happened to someone you love and then in real life...in a matter of days, weeks, months, or even that very day it actually happens? I can't recall if I've experienced something of that magnitude but it still seems a little deja vous, to me at least, to have to go to the bathroom in your dream and then to wake up and have to.
