Happy Golden Days
I really miss being a kid.
Somedays, like today in particular, I just have this urge to find a playground or go climb a tree. At this very moment I'm wishing for a tree to climb. Sadly the trees I used to climb in my back yard have had the lower branches cut off. The next time it rains I want to go run around and splash in it... who cares how cold it is outside? I didn't used to care so why should it bother me now? Oh yeah, I can't afford to get sick anymore. *sigh*
Why do we have to grow up? Why can't we stay young forever and ever? Truthfully, I guess you really could stay young, if not forever for as long as you can climb up a tree and ride a bike with no hands and jump off the swings. Oh how I miss the fun and carefree days of my youth... What am I talking about?! I'm still young! I need to start acting like it.
