Update: Day 3 of "The Plan"
I'm on my 3rd day of working out twice a day or at least doing two workouts in 1 day. I have found that I have more energy to make it through my workouts if I do one in the morning and one in the evening instead of trying to do 2 at once. I started the ChaLEAN Extreme program today with the Burn Circuit 1 workout and felt pretty good but really sore. I think I may need to alter my schedule just a little bit in the coming weeks to allow for at least 1 day recovery time but for now I'm going to push myself through at least 1 possibly 2 weeks of doing it twice a day for 7 days. Surprisingly the only thing I've experienced pain wise at work has been my feet. BUT my feet have been bothering me since I began working at the restaurant. I believe it is a result of 2 things...thing 1- I'm walking more and standing more than I have in the past 5 years when working for the State. Thing 2- My weight is starting to take it's toll on my little feet and my bones aren't having any of it *just one more reason I gotta drop the fat*. Maybe I'd better add a thing 3- I don't really have proper shoes.
On the plus side of thing 3, my mother has bought me Dansko clogs for Christmas. They're supposed to be really great for people who are on their feet all day at work and lots of nurses wear them. They also offer great arch support, a built in super awesome cushion AND the way the heel is built it's supposed to help correct your posture. So now that I'll have super fantastical shoes to wear to work hopefully I'll be able to afford great shoes for working out. Chalene Johnson, my workout Guru, swears by Nike Shox, personally I think they're about the ugliest shoes I've seen in a while BUT the built in springs on the bottom seem to be great for absorbing, you guessed it! Shock. So, I may have to invest in a really great pair of workout shoes that are good for lots of bouncing around in.
So far, so good. 1lb down and only 44 more to go...good Lord I hope I can see the end of this dark tunnel soon! But hey for only just getting started 1lb in 3 days isn't so bad. :-) I'm hangin in there!

I heard its better to work thru the pain than take a break. Its good for your muscles....
Thanks for that tip Sofia! I haven't felt as sore over the last few days as I have in the past either...so either I'm doing it wrong or the extra exercise is keeping my muscles from locking up. I think I've decided to do Yoga at least 1 day a week to stretch everything out.
