Utterly Unexpected
Remember my post about nostalgia and Ex's?
My friend Michelle was house sitting this past weekend and invited me over to dye her hair and go to the neighborhood pool. As we got there a guy and two girls were there without a key (because they don't actually live in that neighborhood...go figure). As we walked by I happened to notice that the guy looked very familiar. As a matter of fact, he worked with me and my ex B (we shall call him that for now) at Mayflower Seafood...interesting. So I got the scoop on the ex that seemed to be lost.
I already knew that when we broke up and I went to college he started dating our ex-manager who was 28 at the time and he was 18. Well, they are now married, have one kid, and another on the way. HOLY CRAP! Never expected that. It's SO freaking crazy the changes that happen to people over the years. Completely unexpected turn of events.

wow... you worked at the Mayflower too? I had worked there in '97, and couldn't have been happier when I said I'm headed off to school. Was it still run by the Greek family when you worked there?
Yeah it was! lol They were pretty awesome as far as managers/owners go but um yes I was pretty stoked to get out of that place. More because of the clientele than the people I worked with.
By the way that's so crazy that you worked there too!
