Shouldn't You Be Working?

I get that question a lot! However, the answer is often a resounding No. Because most of my work has been finished until someone else decides to bring me something else to do. Today I printed off Four (4) job postings. When I get home tonight, to a very empty house, I intend to sit down and adjust my state application and then print and mail Four applications by tomorrow morning.

The empty house part is because my parents are visiting the mountains for their anniversary this year and will be gone until Monday night. Anyone wanting to party at my house Saturday is more than welcome... so long as you don't mind the "incredibly long drive to Knightdale." This has long been a comment that makes me crazy. It was very much truth growing up, since hwy 64 was the only way in or out of Knightdale. HOWEVER, with the additions of 264 bypass and I540 Knightdale has become part of the rest of Raleigh. It takes about 20 minutes or less to get to most places from Knightdale. But that's not important.

What is important? At this point I have no idea. I keep thinking of posts for this thing but by the time I get a minute in front of the computer my mind comes up a complete blank... go figure. Right now, for instance, I had this great blog planned out and then I finally stopped to type it up and *Poof* they vanish never to be seen again. So instead I'm going to plot what I intend to do over the next few weeks and maybe extend that into months.

I really want to see a couple of movies but I may just wait for them to hit the dollar theater. Except for ONE.

Sex and the City, the Movie. I'm so excited about seeing this in theaters, mostly because I have a coupon to see it for free. At mother's day they had a sale on "female" DVD's at Walmart and I hooked myself up with Season 3 and inside the case was this fabulous ticket to see the fabulous movie for free. I've asked my sister to go with me to see it because I don't know anyone else that's watched the show and thus wouldn't really be able to appreciate the movie. My other movies include Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull because Indiana Jones is the best Archaeologist ever to exist... even if Archaeology isn't quite that glamerous.

and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. The prince is WAAAAAAAY hot! And if this is anything like the first one it's going to be pretty amazing.

Something tells me I might want to check out Step brothers as well. It looks rediculous but I love Will Farrell.

There's no question about it I'm going to have to see Dark knight as it's Heath Ledger's last film before his death and it looks like it's going to trump the original hands down.

Hancock looks like a good bet because it's Will Smith and he makes good movies. That man is a genious it's like most of what he touches turns golden.

So that about covers it for movies this summer. I've got a lot to keep up with. I think over the next few months I'm also going to have to work a bit harder on finding a roommate or two that like animals, since I have three dogs, and that are actually tolerable. No molly mormon types please. I need someone realistic... someone that has character but that isn't going to pull me down. I refuse to be anyone's mother. Anyone got any suggestions?? Guys and girls welcome (at this point I'm seriously considering either or). Or maybe I'll be able to find a place cheap enough that I can live in alone. I dunno that part's looking a bit difficult. Most places go for at least $850-$950 and without about a $100,00 a year job I can't afford that kind of money alone. I'm still checking craigslist but I'm open to suggestions if anyone knows anything... requirements are : House, yard, A fence would be great but if not I have one but they have to allow it, and somewhere within a decent driving distance to Raleigh (I'm not going to discount Morrisville, Creedmoor, or Clayton at this point).
I'm also helping out Anna and Sara with Raleigh Little Theater. We're going to be Ushers next month. It's really a TON of fun, eveyone should try it once. You get to take tickets to the show and then once everyone's seated, you get to take a seat yourself and watch the show with everyone else. It's really quite a fantastic thing to do in this city.
I also am in charge of the Single Adult dances for the summer. Jennifer is going to EFY as a councelor this summer and left me in charge of things. I'm not as worried as I was at first, it's not going to be that hard at all. I've got the music picked out already for June and Krista is working up a flyer so that we can send them out to the surrounding Stakes. Everyone should come and Kick off the summer because it's just going to be awesome.
I'm pretty sure the coming months will have other things as well, I'm hoping for a few job interviews and maybe if I'm lucky a job change. But for now that's all I've got going. Anyone want's to fill in my schedule, you just let me know and we'll make plans :0)
