The Perfect White T-Shirt
I've been on a hunt now for about a year, to find the perfect white t-shirt. I know this seems like a long time to be looking for a t-shirt since they seem to be plentiful. However, finding the perfect one has been quite the undertaking. The thing is there are key ingredients to finding the perfect shirt.
These pants are FANTASTIC! They feel so comfortable and the bottoms (see the buttons?) are adjustable so you can wear them shorter if you like. Sierra trading Post is one of the best stores I've ever bought stuff from. They mostly sell outdoorsy type stuff. I got these pants for like 11 something plus shipping because I had a 20% off certificate from buying my Birkenstocks from there. They are the cutest shoes ever too! I just adore them. I've never wanted to drop a load on Birks but have always admired how they feel. I was searching the Trading Post's website and found a pair for $34! That's what I call a deal! These are shoes that range anywhere from $69.50 to $150.00. So I finally bought a pair in pink (they come in four colors!)
and then went back and got pants. Needless to say Ariel highly recomends Sierra Trading Post.
- First and most important: It can't cost too much, that is one area I'm most adamant about. I'm just not willing to spend $20 on a t-shirt, unless I'm at a concert. So, this shirt must have a price tag of $10 or less.
- Next, it can't have too much stretch to it or too little. If it has too much stretch it clings to my tubby tummy and if it doesn't have enough stretch it looks like I'm wearing an old stretched out shirt.
- Then there's length. I am so thrilled that tunic shirts and longer length shirts are in style now because I can't stand wearing a shirt that is too short. When you have a waist like mine you prefer to keep it hidden.
- Finally there is cut. I don't like for the neckline to be too high or too low, a good scoop neck or v-neck is fabulous and I hate for the shirt to just hang there and not have any shape at all (that kind of coinsides with my stretch rule).
It's by Mossimo Supply Company and I only paid $7.99 for it (plus tax of course). It met all of my qualities. The only suggestion I have is if, Like me, you don't like it to cling too much, get a size larger than you'd usually wear. I usually wear a large but I got it in an XL because the Large just seemed a little tighter than it should be. YAY! I'm so happy I celebrated by wearing my new shirt with my new pair of pink pants that I got from Sierra Trading Post
