The List Just Get's Longer!
I have this ridiculously long list of things that I need money for and things just keep getting added to it but nothing is getting taken off so instead of getting shorter the list just keeps getting longer and longer! And it's not like it's stuff that I want but it's stuff that I actually NEED and that's what's so frustrating about it. My income isn't getting any bigger but I'll be darned...that list does.
In no special order:
1. Wisdom Teeth.
2. Fix bumper
3. Replace Windshield
4. Change oil
5. New Tires
6. Computer (this really is a need...I'm starting a new business and if I don't have a computer that can keep up I'm not going to do too well).
7. Canon EOS Digital SLR (this one falls on the need/want..I need a better camera for the biz but I can tolerate the one I have until I've got the money for the new one)
As you can tell most of these items are vehicular. Isn't that lovely? If I don't have a car, I can't get to work, if I can't get to work, I can't make money, but I don't have enough money to fix the car thus I'm scared it may break down at some point and then I'll just be horribly screwed. The last two items are necessities so that I can improve the business that I'm starting.. yep you read that correctly I'm starting a business. I'm not doing any advertising yet though, there's going to be a test run in Charlotte this weekend to see how things go and then if all goes well I will fill everyone in on it.
Aaaaah becoming an adult! When we're 5 we can't wait until we're old enough to drive a car and buy a house and be mom's and dad's and then when we get old enough to realize it's a trap... they've already got us cornered and there's no way out. Welcome to a life of working at jobs you hate, paying off vehicles just to have to replace it with another payment, and paying bills bills BILLS. You gotta love being all grown up!
