Speaking of my contest winning cake, it's featured on page 7 of Stuff Cake and it is BEAUTIFUL! It looks different from the one I made but you get the gist. Anyway so this book is awesome! The art is detailed and colorful and eye catching. The story is about a boy who hates vegetables and wants to eat nothing but cake and when he gets his wish, he must find a way to deal with the consequences. Pete is the central focus of this story and he is joined in the story by his father, who could not have been drawn as a more hilarious character, as well as a NASTY troll! From the moles on his fathers face to the gross red and green puss boils on the troll and the cake smears all over Pete's face...this is some of the MOST detailed artwork I have seen in a short Children's Story. Oh, and the CAKES! They are the most delicious of drawings.

Don't worry! I didn't forget the story either! The moral of the story is that kids should eat their vegetables but the story is told in one of the most creative ways possible. Pete gets exactly what he wants: cake, cake and MORE CAKE! An evil troll with a magic plate helps him out, but it comes with a price, he gets HUGELY FAT! and grows to the size of Alice while she is in the White Rabbit's house in Wonderland. Pete crashes through the roof and has to use some quick thinking to get out of a terrible situation! Go to Amazon and download the book, read it for yourself and share it with your kids. Don't have kids? Share it with your nieces, nephews, grandkids, shoot share it with the neighbors kids or just read it yourself because it is so worth it!
