I first met Brett Peterson of the Peterson Brothers Press while performing in a bagpipe band in Raleigh, NC during my youth...can I say this? I am still young but this was when I was much younger ;-) ANYWAY! Brett and his brother Josh are both members of the LDS church which is where the awesome friendship I had with both of them continued post-pipe band days. Recently the Peterson Brothers, Brett and Josh, decided to go public with the books that they have been working on for years. What better way to do that than by turning them into ebooks?! So far Baby Boobang is the Peterson Brothers first child friendly book to hit amazon and next up you will be seeing this blogger's rock candy rainbow birthday cake featured in their upcoming book Stuff Cake! Yeah, these two amazing guys had a contest to submit your best cake recipe and the winner would be featured in the book...I was that lucky winner.
TANGENT: You know it's kind of funny, I always say that I never win anything but I've actually won a few things through the years. Recently, in fact, I won free movie tickets in a drawing I didn't even know I'd entered at my apartment complex, I won a limited edition cravebox (not really "winning" when you have to pay for it but it was sure nice to be one of the people selected to get the box!), I also won this amazing contest to have my cake featured in a book. So happy day to me!
Back on track...The point of this post is...Good child friendly ebooks, and if the Peterson Brothers Press facebook page makes it to 299 "likes" by July 20th they are going to give away free copies of Baby Boobang, their first ebook, on amazon.com!! Yes sir! A free ebook, just for liking an amazing facebook page that you should really already like ;-) But seriously, The stories are super kid friendly, they teach great lessons AND the artwork is incredible...

Let's face it, I'm an adult...SHOCK! I know...and I don't have any children of my own but while visiting my sister in Colorado I decided to download this ebook (ps there's a secret coming up soon!!!) and I read it through on my own. It was so adorable that I decided to go read it to my nephew and while he is only 2 and has a very short attention span, this book was short, to the point, and the illustrations kept him looking on while I read the story.
