Weight Loss Week 1
Back to my radical methods of weight loss. I'm researching lifestyle changing diets while I'm still at the beginning of this one so that as I come off the 43 day diet I am prepared to step into a new world of food. I'm doing some very indepth research on the Paleo diet and the possibility of cutting out gluten and refined sugars from my every day diet. I'm afraid this may be TOO extreme for me but I'm going to see how I handle it. In the meantime I am having fun cooking the recipes in the HCG cookbook I have from the last time I dieted. I have a food blog where I'm posting most of the things I've made and I'm so excited to be trying new recipes each day.
So here's where I started:
weight: 182.6 Yeeeah I got FAT
Chest 42
L Arm 12.5
R Arm 12.2
Midriff 35
Waist 40
Hips 46
L Thigh 23.6
R Thigh 24
And here's where I am as of This morning:
Weight: 173.2 = that's a total loss of 9.4lbs
L Arm 12.5
R Arm 12.1
Midriff 33 = there's 2 inches in a nice spot gone...WOO!
Waist 39.5 = 1/2 an inch is better than nothing
Hips 45 = a whole inch here as well
L Thigh 22.5 = 1.1 inches here and
R Thigh 21.5 = 2.5 inches here...I think it's highly possible I may have measured wrong one of these times because this seems a bit odd but we will go with it for now.
Overall seem to be doing pretty nicely thus far and keeping on track as expected. I went to the store today and bought a few more spices and some other cooking supplies as well as replenished my stock of fresh fruit. I actually found NC grown Strawberries at Harris Teeter! They were from a farm in Faison, NC. YAY for "local"! (and I say "local" because it's not local to Wilmington but def Local to the state!) Alrighty well next update to come soon! I'm hangin in there and avoiding eating the cookies that are still in my cabinet from the two loading days...I didn't have the ability to finish them and haven't found anyone to take them to either.

Check out the juice fast. I have a friend from my old ward in NC doing a 60-day juice fast with incredible results both physically and mentally. It's obviously not a long term diet but it's more about resetting your body I believe. Check out her blog which I find incredibly inspiring even though I'm not dieting or anything.
