Safe Return

This morning when I got to work, or shortly after that, my pig was hiding in a corner on my desk. I guess I left out a bit of background... I have at least one co-worker that likes to move my pig around on my desk but he always does it in front of me so I know he's messing around. When I checked with this guy to see if he had taken the pig he swore up and down and all around that he hadn't touched it and it sucked that someone would take it from off my desk like that. So after talking to him I made a point to send out a mass e-mail to the entire office letting them know it was taken and if this was done as a joke please return it. Normally I would have laughed it off and just waited to see if it came back but yesterday was just not a good day and I really didn't feel like dealing with this childishness. After 2pm when the pig had not returned I made a point to talk to the director and she said she'd send out an email. She never did by the way.

Apparently whoever took it was trying to be funny or something and they returned it this morning while I was away from my desk. I fully intend to send out an email thanking the person who returned the pig safely to his home and asking them to please not remove things from my desk again...it's just not cool or even remotely funny to have your personal posessions taken away. So happy he's back on my desk and I hope I don't have to take him home.
