I've got my tickets!

I bought my fair tickets last week at Triangle Towne Center and ever since then I've been counting down the days until I get to use them. This year I am going to make sure I try at least two new things! I want to eat one of those gigantic turkey legs that make you look like Conan the Barbarian as you walk the Fair Grounds and I think this year I'm gonna be brave and try the deep fried Ho-Ho. I subscribe to the State Fair's blog and so I get all the nifty updates about the new things and foods and I watched a video of this girl tasting her first deep fried Ho-Ho and the moment she said it tasted like a deep fried Oreo on Steroids... I was sold!

The thing I'm the most excited about isn't just that I get to go to the fair...it's that I get to share my absolutely ridiculous love and admiration for the fair with my boyfriend, who's never been. Lived in NC most of his life and never been to the State Fair. WHAT THE CRAP!?! I also get to share it with my roomie Jordan, she's been to the Fair before but never experienced it in all of it's glory... Staying all day until it gets dark and making sure that you see AAAALLL the awesome things there are to see and get all the free junk at the booths and ride the ridiculously childish rides (because I don't do scary ones) and smell the stinky animals, There's just so much to experience that my senses are always on overload when I'm there. I can't WAIT to share that with my friends :-D Oh this year is going to be one for the books!!!
