Self Diagnosis
I have spent over $300 going to a Urologist to find out why I have a constant urge to pee. In the 3 visits I learned that Dr's are pricks that don't bother to talk to or listen to their patients and don't provide them with any information about their problems. How did I discover this? Because all the stupid Dr did was ask me 3 questions, what's wrong, how long, and are you on any medication? That's it. Then as I tried to explain and ask questions...he just kept looking down at his papers and saying "uh huh". Then he wrote me a prescription for $50 medication for an overactive bladder and didn't bother to explain what that means or how in the hell I got there.
Here is what I have learned since...
I am fat, I realize I already knew this about myself and I even lost all this disgusting weight and then put it all right back on. Stupid fat body. Okay so what does fat have to do with my bladder? Oh, well, all this heavy disgusting chub hanging around my interior organs is putting pressure on them so I'm pretty sure that has some effect on it.
Caffeine is EVIL. I figured this part out on my own, after drinking a caffeinated beverage I would notice that even on my medication the urgency was pretty intense. So I decided to do a bit of research online about the effects of caffeine on the bladder. Not only does the caffeine create a diuretic effect but it weakens the bladder muscles creating a constant feeling of a full bladder even when it's mostly empty. Every time I drink a Dr. Pepper I feel like I have to pee for the next 24 hours. It is ridiculous. Why am I still drinking it? Because let's face it if I got rid of the Dr. Pepper from my diet I could probably cure not just the constant urge to pee but get rid of my freaking fat! And that's where caffeine being addictive is a problem. I have a slight addiction to Dr. Pepper...time for a 12 step program? Perhaps.
For my health I think it's best if I give up drinking any sort of drink with Caffeine for good.
