Dove- The Magic 8 Ball of Chocolates
This morning I grabbed a handfull of Dove Dark Chocolates out of my bag and shoved them into my hoodie's pocket on my way out the door. As I sat in traffic this morning I remembered they were there for the eating and decided to indulge while waiting for the cars to move along. Over the last few days I have been having panic attacks about my future...this is abnormal for me because I usually just go about my business day to day and when I plan it's usually only a month or two out, but lately I've been trying to plan a real future for myself. Well, as best as one can plan the future, perhaps I should say I am making attempts to plan FOR the future that might occur if I take a certain path...Lord that's complicated. Anyway, it's as though the Cosmos aligned and delivered these chocolates to my hand on this particular day right in the midst of all this craziness.
Chocolate #1- Live your dreams.
read like this= live YOUR dreams.
Chocolate #2- Do what feels right.
read like this= Do what feels right for you.
Chocolate #3- Ignite your sense of adventure.
read like this= TAKE A FREAKING VACATION!
and finally
Chocolate #4- Love every moment.
read like this= It's okay that things fall apart as you try to plan them because maybe you're not supposed to plan that far in advance just yet, just love all the moments that you do have.
I realize that last one is a heck of a lot to read into what a piece of chocolate's wrapper says to me but I'm one of those women that reads loads into the smallest phrase...yes it's annoying but it's me. Sometimes insight comes in the strangest ways but even in the form of chocolate (or perhaps especially in this form) it has a very calming effect on my neurotic personality.
